Dr. Silber is Director of the Children’s National Medical Center’s Office of Ethics in Washington, DC. He is also a professor of pediatrics and global health at George Washington University. He received his undergraduate degree in pre-medical studies from Colegio Acassuso in Buenos Aires, Argentina, and his M.D. from the Universidad de Buenos Aires, Facultad de Medicina. He completed residency programs at the Hospital de Ninos de Buenos Aires and Thomas Jefferson University Hospital and received a Master’s Degree in Bioethics from George Washington University. Dr. Silber is the author of250 peer-reviewed publications.
