Biotechnology Industry (BIO) selects BEI to direct 2010 BIO International Convention ethics panel


The Biotechnology Industry Organization (BIO) selected Bioethics International (BEI) to direct the ethics panel for its 2010 BIO International Convention in Chicago.

The BIO InternationalConvention is the largest global event for the biotechnology industry attracting the biggest names in biotech. It showcases the many ways the biotechnology and life science industries work together to help heal, fuel, and feed the world.

Presidents Bill Clinton and George W. Bush, will appear together for a moderated discussion on domestic and foreign policy.   Al Gore will deliver a keynote on climate change and BEI’s Executive Director, Jennifer Miller, will direct and present the panel on the ethics of pharmaceutical research and development (R&D).
