Understanding Your Living Will, Co-sponsored by BEI- June 27, 2007

living will.jpgIs your living will compromising your safety?” If you have a living will, you probably had it prepared so your wishes would be carried out if you became incapable of making your own medical decisions. But, there is a risk of your living will being misinterpreted. Patients who are not terminally ill die in hospitals every year because of medical staff misinterpretations of living wills. Dr. Mirarchi explains how to include lifesaving code status information in your living will.

Come to the Park Avenue Bank (350 Park Avenue) for FREE cocktails, appetizers and the debut of the world’s first study on living wills, DNR orders and patient safety 6-8pm on June 27th.

By attending, learn life saving information about your living will, gain valuable insights into protecting your patients wishes, and network with other medical professionals. Download event flyer here  *The event is complimentary, but donations are always welcome and appreciated.
